About two days later with two wire brushes used up and one angle grinder destroyed all the old paint is gone and the tractor is getting ready for final prep.
Can you give me more information about the wire brushes that you used? Where did you get them and what brand were they? Where the wire brushes all you used to remove the old paint? Also, did you use a 4" angle grinder for the wire brushes?
Wire brushes were Dewalt brand knotted brushes. The best grinder turned out to be a Roybi 4 1/2 grinder. That is all I used for the pain removal on the main part of the tractor. Most of the small stuff went into a bead blast cabinet. The bigger stuff that I took off the tractor went into an electrolysis bath to remove rust and paint.
